How to Order Your Ketubah
Ordering a personalized ketubah from Ketubah Atelier is simple. Choose your design, tell us your details, approve a free digital proof (sent within 24 hours), and we print, frame if you wish, and ship it to you. Here is exactly how it works.
Step-by-step
1. Choose your design
Browse all ketubahs or start with a style: watercolor, Tree of Life, Jerusalem, modern or papercut. Shopping on a budget? See ketubahs under $150.
2. Pick your size and framing
Square designs come in 14x14, 16x16, 18x18, 20x20 and 24x24 inches; vertical designs in 9x12, 12x16, 16x20 and 18x24 inches. Choose unframed, or add a Black, White, Silver or Gold frame so your ketubah arrives ready to hang.
3. Add your personalization
Fill in the fields on the product page, or email your details to quickprintsinbox@gmail.com. Personalization is free and includes:
- Couple's names in English and Hebrew
- Parents' names (optional)
- Wedding date, city and state
- Your text version: Reform, Conservative (with the Lieberman clause), Orthodox/traditional Aramaic, Interfaith, Same-Sex/LGBTQ+, Secular/Humanist, or your own custom text
Don't know your Hebrew names or how to spell them? We offer free translation and Hebrew transliteration. Not sure which text to choose? Read our ketubah text options guide.
4. Review your digital proof
Within 24 hours we email you a digital proof. Check every name, date and spelling, and share it with your rabbi or officiant. Send us any corrections and we will update the proof. Nothing is printed until you approve.
5. We print, frame and ship
Once you approve, we print your ketubah as a museum-quality giclée on 340 gsm archival watercolor paper with pigment inks, frame it if you ordered a frame, and ship it flat in rigid, thick cardboard, with free shipping anywhere in the USA.
Order timeline
| Stage | What happens | Timing |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Order | You place your order and send your personalization details. | Day 0 |
| 2. Proof | We email a digital proof of your ketubah. | Within 24 hours |
| 3. Approve | You (and your rabbi or officiant) review, request corrections and approve. | At your pace |
| 4. Print & frame | We print on archival watercolor paper and frame if selected. | About 5 business days (papercut: about 1 month) |
| 5. Ship | Shipped flat in rigid cardboard, free within the USA. | About 7 days in the USA |
The fastest way to move through the timeline is to approve your proof promptly. Most delays happen while waiting on a spelling check or the rabbi's review.
When should I order?
Ordering 2 to 3 months before your wedding is comfortable. It gives you time to confirm Hebrew names with family, share the proof with your rabbi or officiant, and receive your ketubah well before signing day, with no stress.
Wedding coming up fast? Rush orders are often possible. Email quickprintsinbox@gmail.com with your wedding date before ordering and we will do our very best to get your ketubah to you in time. We can't guarantee rush timing, but we always try.
Tips for a smooth order
- Ask your rabbi early which text they require, especially for Orthodox and Conservative ceremonies.
- If your ceremony begins after sunset, tell us. The Hebrew date changes at nightfall, and we will make sure your ketubah reflects it.
- Plan to sign with an archival pen. We recommend a black, fine-point Sakura Pigma Micron.
