How Far in Advance Should You Order a Ketubah? A Simple Timeline

Order a printed ketubah about 2 to 3 months before your wedding, and a handmade papercut ketubah about 3 months ahead. That leaves time to agree on the text with your officiant, approve the proof, and receive the ketubah well before signing day. If you are closer to the date, rush options are often possible.

Frequently asked questions

Is 1 month enough time to order a ketubah?

Usually, for a printed ketubah. Approve your proof quickly and consider express shipping. Papercut ketubahs need about a month on their own, so order those earlier.

Can we sign the ketubah before the wedding?

The signing traditionally happens on the wedding day, shortly before the ceremony. Ask your officiant about their practice.

What if there is a mistake in the text?

That is what the proof is for. Check every name and date and ask for changes until it is perfect. If we make an error after you approve, we replace it free.

Where should we ship it?

Most couples ship to their home so they can bring it to the venue. Shipping is free anywhere in the USA.
